Society might still slightly frown at you for carrying around a handbag full of nothing but cold burgers and fries, but at least now you can get your fast food fix without anyone noticing thanks to a new BBQ themed range of lip balms.

Yup, everyone's fave flavoured lip balm brand Lip Smacker have done something a little different this summer and are releasing a collection based on your favourite seasonal savoury munchies.

There are some pretty standard choices, like root beer float, watermelon and salted pretzel, but there's also some slightly weirder flavours including a double cheeseburger and a sweet potato fry one.

To be honest this is something we definitely never, ever imagined we'd want to smear on our lips for fun, but after hearing the description, we have to say that we're kinda curious.

Aside from moisturising your lips a treat, the odd flavours will apparently have 'caramelised undertones'so theytastemore like a lip balm and less like you're smearing burger grease on your chops.

Gahd knows why Lip Smacker decided this would be the summer of a savoury lip, but according to the official blurb"the formula is just as hydrating as you remember it to be! That makes these products ideal for soothing a sun-scorched pucker after a long day spentoutside at a summer barbecue."

The world is weird sometimes, but can we suggest that maybe next summer they add a Greek salad and a chicken nugget flavour too?

Just so we've had enough protein and nutrients that we don't feel guilty having a slick of cookie dough flavour on our lips for dessert.
