Camila Cabello And Ariana Grande Bond Over High Ponytail Pain
Luckily, Ari doesn’t pay the pain no mind
As anyone who has ever worn a high ponytail for longer than 45 minutes will know, it's not a beginner's game. And now the High Priestess of Ponytails, Ariana Grande, has revealed a few home truths about what it's like to have such a torturous style as a defining feature of your personal brand.
We have Camila Cabello to thank for this revelation, after she turned out at this year’s MTV EMAs working an Ariana-style high ponytail. The pain got so much that she felt the overwhelming urge to let Ariana know that she’s well and truly shook by her ability to rock the up-do all the damn time.
The magic-cracking reveal happened on Twitter as the ‘Havana’ singer tweeted out that she’d just sported a high ponytail for the first time, and it was pulling on her “brain.” She then went on to add: “HOW DO YOU DO IT @ArianaGrande.”
Ari replied to her pal saying that the hairstyle also causes her pain, but she simply just does not care… Like, at all. Not one bit.
It turns out that Camila isn’t here for suffering through the pain though, as she later tweeted out a picture of her having taken the high ponytail out.
The babe quoted Ari’s new break-up anthem in the caption of the photo, saying: “I had to take it off #thankunext.”
Luckily for us all though, the pain doesn’t affect Ari very much, meaning we won’t be losing her iconic look any time soon. The ‘God Is A Woman’ singer replied to Camila hinting that she can’t feel the pony pain any more.
Camila then went on to hilariously tweet that she’s “literally never doing that hairstyle again.” Ey, where there’s no pain there’s no gain. Amirite?!
