Deciem Founder Announces The Skincare Company Is Closing For The Foreseeable Future

But... What about our salicylic acid?

Stock up on your fave The Ordinary products while you still can, because Deceim founder Brandon Truxe has posed a super cryptic video on Instagram claiming the company is temporarily shutting down.

“This is the final post of Deciem. We will shut down all operation until further notice, which is about two months,” Truaxe says in the video, before going on to allege that almost everyone at the company has been involved in “major criminal activity”.

"Almost everyone at Deciem has been involved in a major criminal activity which includes financial crimes and much other. You have no idea what a solider I've been for more than thirteen years,” he explains.

"I've been made fun of, as a porn actor, and as a f**king drug dealer and everything, for thirteen years and it's all ending now."

Even his caption was somewhat of a rollercoaster, telling fans: "Every one of you who has been laughing at me will with certainty face criminal prosecution.”

He then proceeds to name a number of A-list celebs, including Brad Pitt and George Clooney, as well as high profile brands and companies, who he believes are all involved in whatever this situation is.

This comes after a number of bizarre posts on the social media site appeared in the past year, mostly consisting of screenshots of comments and emails, which occasionally hinted at something of this scale happening in the near future.

There's been no follow-up to the post, and as of publishing this story The Ordinary products are still available for sale.
