Selena Gomez Hires Lottie Tomlinson As A Makeup Artist For The Revival World Tour

Damn Daniel.

As if getting to learn the tricks of the trade from Lou Teasdale on One Direction's World Tour wasn't cool enough, Louis Tomlinson's younger sister Lottie Tomlinson has just landed one hell of a job working as a makeup artist for Selena Gomez.

Set to join Selena on her Revival World Tour, Lottie will be making her solo debut as a MUA and is pretty excited to be getting a few more professional jobs under her (makeup tool) belt.

Dishing the deets on hernew job during a recent chat withELLE, Lottie explained that it all started when she and Selena got chatting backstage at an X Factor show where the 1D boys were performing just before Christmas.

"[Selena]was on the X Factor in the UK at the same time as [One Direction] were," Lottie says. "We met backstage. She came to Lou to ask her to do her hair. She had really long hair at the time, and it was getting all knotted up.

"So I was assisting Lou with her hair, and she asked for a makeup touchup. I said, 'Sure, I can do that!'And she liked it, and we're still in contact."

With the tour set to go on for the rest of the year, Lottie will be heading off in May and she's already planning which products to get in for her work on Selena.

"One thing I really like the Anastasia Beverly Hills stuff. It's really good quality and it has a really wide range,soI'm getting a lot of that," she adds.

Asked if she and Selena have discussed the exact looks they'll be doing for the tour, Lottie says: "Not yet! I'm going to LA in the next couple of weeks, and I'll text her to see if she wants to meet up and talk makeup.

"Though I could talk about makeup all the time; I get other people aren't as obsessed."

While she's understandably really excited to jet off into the glitter liner embellished sunset, at just 17, Lottie says it's the idea of being away from family that is giving her a few extra butterflies.

Asked if she's worried about any aspects of the tour, Lottie replied: "Probably just missing home. I'm in quite a good position because I've done the One Direction tour already, so I know a lot of what to expect.

"But it's different because I'll be on my own at first; I won't have my brother or Lou or anyone with me. So I'll have to meet people and make friends.

"That's the part that's the hardest, just not knowing who I'll be with, when I'm so used to being on tour with people I'm really close with," she adds. "Hopefully my family will come visit from time to time, and make it easier."
