Apparently there’s just nothing that can’t be turned into a beauty hack in 2017, with the latest one to hit Insta leaving us wondering if we should *actually* try it out.

This time it’s your iPhone which could double as the back of your hand, after a number of make up artists on Instagram used the matte sideto mix their base products.

As in the part of your phone which is covered in bacteria.

One MUA eager to try it out was 15-year-old star in the making Jake Warden, who can be seen using his rose gold iPhone to pour his foundation and liquid highlighter onto before mixing together.

He then simply dabs his Beautyblender on and gets to work on his look, with there really not being much else to it.

But when one other beauty vlogger tried it out she had to actually turn the comments section off, after quite the outcry over whether she realised how unhygienic the whole thing is.

So if you are going to go ahead and try it out, PLEASE for the love of all things sanitary just give your phone a quick wipe with something antibacterial. Your face will thank you.
