If you thought bumand ear contouring (yes, ear contouring) were a bit nuts, just wait until you hear about the internet's favourite new hack for getting your face sculpting on point.

Yep, the latest trick for nailing contouring comes courtesy of Huda Kattan (aka Instagram MUA @HudaBeauty) and just so happens to involve using a ruler to help define the areas which you shade with your contouring product.

We're guessing that if you've ever actually attempted to contour, you'll know that one of the hardest bits is getting it symmetrical, which is why Huda uses a trusty 30cm ruler to get hers on fleek.

Posting a handy video showing us all how it's done on Insta, she explains:"Measuring your contour to make it perfectly even!

"I started doing this a while back because I noticed the asymmetry in my face from sleeping on one side of my face for years (for me it was def noticeable)"

Nailed it, even if you might look a little bit odd doing this oneon the bus.
