Pixi Rose Flash Balm
Like a lot of the oily-skinned among us, I’ve always been pretty suspicious of moisturiser. But actually, since incorporating this into my daily regimen, my skin has never felt softer, smoother or less greasy. It also smells divine, gives you a glow AND can be used as quick-fix mask or primer if you are short on makeup bag space.
Glossier Invisible Shield
As someone so pale my skin actually looks translucent, my greatest fear is sun damage, so a sunscreen on my chops every day in non-negotiable. For me the Glossier one is the clear winner as the gel formula absorbs like a charm and doesn’t upset my grease-prone skin. Plus it’s SPF 30, broad spectrum that also protects your skin from the grossie Josie air pollution you get in the city.
Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective Primer
My hair is both super fine and coloured, which means it has a tendency to feel coarse and crispy unless I’m rigorous with the conditioning treatments. While Olaplex has legit changed my life, the Bumble Protective Primer is also a total godsend – you just douse your hair in it pre-blowdrying and it stops split ends in their tracks while also making locks feel silkier than a prize-winning pony’s tail.
Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift
If there’s one thing I will throw money at, it’s a good brow product. I know there are countless high street versions of the Brow Lift but none of them are as good. Charlotte just does it best and I love the brow bone highlighter that comes with it – it doubles as a great eye brightener for the inner corners of your eyes.
Too Faced Mascara Melt Off
As someone who has ruined countless pillowcases with mascara smears, this product is a total game changer. No matter how tired or (maybe more likely) drunk you are, you just slap a bit of this on your lashes, wash your face as per usual and TA-DAH – even the most waterproof of mascara is long gone. If my house was on fire, I’d probably save mine over my housemates. (soz guys)

Glossier Lidstar in Cub
This may be a recent addition but already it’s transformed my life. As a makeup rookie I love that I can use my fingers to apply it and it not look like I’ve hired a 5-year-old as my makeup artist. I may have already bought two more. I definitely have a Glossier problem.
The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
Seeing as I spend most of my time googling ‘how to get rid of acne’ I am now quite the fan of the Ordinary’s magic potions. I say magic because since incorporating this into my routine I’ve not had any crater-like spots that you can see from outer space for a solid month, which is a miracle in my books.
GHD Soft Curl Tong
No matter how many tutorials I watch I just can’t curl my hair using straighteners, which is why this bad boy is my go to for beachy waves. Sure it looks like it doubles up as something else entirely, but I couldn’t care less when it’s giving me that post-salon ‘do in under 15 minutes.
Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream
I’m on my third pot of this because it is a DREAM. You only have to use a tiny amount each time and it sinks in so perfectly I might just marry it. If that were a thing.
Silvikrin Firm Hold Hairspray
It keeps my curls in place and isn’t crazy expensive – what more do you want from a hairspray? I can’t quite justify forking out £££ on something I will get through in a matter of weeks, so until I’m a millionaire Silvikrin has my heart.

Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint
I’m tired a LOT and never had so many compliments on how good my skin looks.
Tresemme Volume Curl Wand
I am generally shit at doing my hair and have no time or patience. However, a friend recommended this and it gives me amazing waves in half an hour. I’ve mastered the art!
Cowshed udderly gorgeous stretch mark balm
OBSESSED. So they applied this on me when I went for a pregnancy massage and I’ve been addicted ever since. It smells incredible – and melts into skin with a creamy/oily sheen. I now use it as an all over body moisturiser – and it is very greasy – but for my dry skin it just makes it feel amazing and gives me silky, glistening limbs.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood lips
It's just the most amazing consistency of lipstick that I’ve ever tried. So moisturising and it feels super luxurious to apply. I only have one but want it in all colours.
Benefit precisely my brow
Love the double ended wand with pencil and brush to create a natural looking brow you can build up without looking like a cartoon. I usually finish things off with Benefit brow gel as well.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I’m also a fan of Benefit’s They’re Real for a more natural look, but I’m definitely more of an eye makeup girl than a lipstick girl so I usually like to make them quite bold and, well, there’s a reason they say it’s better than sex AND why it’s one of the best selling mascaras in the world.
Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette
Despite my male colleagues thinking it’s funny to ask if I’ve been crying when I opt for some of the redder hues in this palette, I am totally obsessed and use it pretty much every single day. For a subtle look I like to use Low Blow on my lower lash line and Sauced on the lid, but if I’m going out I usually swap Low Blow for En Feugo and Sauced for Cayenne and add a bit of shimmer with Dirty Talk.
John Frieda Beach Blonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray
I have the most hideous thin, fine and naturally poker straight hair, so I like to spray this through it after washing and towel drying before giving it a quick blast with the hairdryer and tying it in a loose plait while I do my make up and then take it out and brush through with my fingers to fake a bit of volume.
Benefit Brow Zings Brow Shaping Kit
I’ve tried pencils and I’ve tried gels but I just can’t get on board so I like to use Benefit’s Brow Zings in medium to fill in all those awful gaps from where I thought it was a good idea to pluck pretty much every single hair from my poor brows as a foolish teenager.
St.Tropez Everyday Gradual Tan Face Cream
I usually maintain a bit of a tan on my body from worshipping the sun at every possible opportunity (while wearing sun tan lotion ofc) but because of all the scrubbing my poor face goes through it’s usually quite pale and this gives me the perfect subtle glow throughout winter.

Avene Redness Relief Moisturising Protection Cream
It's just the best SPF moisturiser EVER.
Clinique High Impact Mascara
The Yves St Laurent False Lash Effect mascara is a v strong contender, but Clinique wins as it’s cheaper and doesn’t go clumpy even if you keep it in your collection for months and months. The Clinique eyeliner is amazing too and a must-have for any make up bag.
Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15
Super natural, light coverage that gives you that Insta model dewiness without any fuss. It does wear off a bit as the day goes on but in a natural way that doesn’t separate or look patchy. I’m into it. I’ve also tried the new formula (which does last longer and has a matter finish) BUT I still 100% prefer the OG.
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Global Glow
In between a blusher and bronzer, this gem gives you a warm healthy glow and I’ll always get compliments on my skin when wearing it! I recommend this one to all my frenz.
Sephora Collection Brow Gel
Cheap and cheerful – makes Sephora visit to any European/US city a must.

Wunder2 Wunderbrow Eyebrow Gel
This formula is super easy to work with and can be as bold or as subtle as you like. It’s also water-resistant and has lasted even through my sweatiest workouts!
Dr Organic Cocoa Butter Wonder Oil
My hair gets really battered from regular swimming, but this stuff is WIZARDRY. Leave it in wet hair overnight (sleep on a towel to avoid ruining your pillows) and wash out in the morning for super smooth, moisturised locks.
SportFX Sport Stamina Mascara
Good enough quality to look amazing during the day, and waterproof enough not to budge through sweaty workouts or rainy runs.
Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads
Literally the only thing that will remove my industrial-strength waterproof mascara!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
I can’t function if my eyebrows aren’t done (because they are basically invisible if left to their own devices) so I’ve gone through a million products trying to get the right one. My fave is the double ended Brow Wiz which lets you define your brows stroke by stroke creating a super natural effect without being too heavy. Followed by a gel, it’s the tits.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
I find foundations a hopeless black hole of despair because I’m yet to find one that makes my skin look like Kylie Jenner’s flawless-Insta filtered self. The closest I’ve come is this from Too Faced, which is light, really buildable and creates a really lovely matte finish.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Ophelia
I’m quite pale so it’s been a struggle to find the perfect nude lip that doesn’t end up looking too pink or dark on me – but I found it. Kat Von D’s entire range is like crack to me but her liquid lipsticks are INCREDIBLE. They are so velvety and dry perfectly matte without the feeling like you have cement on your lips.
Batiste Dry Shampoo
It might break my brain if I think about how many bottles of this I go through a year. I’ve tried countless other fancier dry shampoos but nothing beats this for me. For those of you, like me, who either are lazy AF or have naturally fine and limp-ish hair, this is a godsend.
Kylie Cosmetics Kyshadow Bronze Palette
The Bronze Palette and my Urban Decay Naked Heat are basically like my children, I love them so much. But Naked Heat is more of a faff to carry around if you’re travelling or going out after work, so Kylie is usually my go-to. The shades are so pretty and they really last for however long you’re wearing them. Plus you can watch tutorials with Kylie and Kardashian glam squad members Hrush Achemyan and Joyce Bonelli that show you exactly how to use it. Win.
