This Woman Turned Her Stretch Marks Into A Work Of Art With The Help Of Glitter
Time to reclaim those so-called 'imperfections'.
Women might have been taught to disguise their stretch marks since the dawn of time but a digital artist out there has encouraged the sisterhood to embrace all their so-called 'imperfections.'
Dentist turned artist Sara Shakeel is enjoying a flurry of interest over her decision to add a bit of glitter to her already gorgeous legs, and the resulting images have racked up a truly insane amount of likes.

Proving that there's nothing more powerful than a woman who loves each and every part of her body, Sara revealed that she feels "liberated and so fu**ing proud" of the concept.
The images show her body decorated with gold glitter, a blue galaxy, and shiny crystals, with the artist explaining that she taught herself Photoshop after failing her last year of dentistry.

"I still remember that feeling of making those glitter stretch marks, and I was quite scared of uploading it," she said. "I am a Pakistani-based artist and talking about stretch marks or even making art out of it is not something you talk about on a regular basis."
"Stretch marks are something I relate to on a very personal basis," Sara continued. After gaining weight in a short period of time, Sara said she was inspired to "fill up" the resulting stretch marks with "something pretty."

There's something about her manner of body-positivity that has struck a chord with women across the globe. "So motivating! Your words are beautiful 💕👍," one person wrote, as another said: "I wish the world could see things like you do."
