Ultimate Lazy Girl Hair And Beauty Hacks
If you don't have time to do a full Kardashian glam face everyday, then these tips might just be your saviour...
Not a big fan of washing your hair everyday? Hate the thought of having to re-paint all of your nails just because of one tiny chip? Well we feel your pain, because sometimes life’s just too short to be sat in front of a mirror for six hours before going out.
So we’ve thought up of some of the easiest hacks that should help make your life that bit better, when it comes to hair and beauty that is. We’re not total miracle workers.
Hair...
Simply pop your hair in a high pony, split into two sections and curl the ends in small chunks. Remove hair band and voila, curly hair!
Greasy hair and you cba to wash it? Simply spray loads of dry shampoo in and give it a blast with the hairdryer. Hello volumous clean-looking hair.
Brows...
If you can’t make it to see your eyebrow person anytime soon but are in a serious overgrowth situation, use concealer to hide some of those strays
Set your brows in place by spraying a spool with hairspray and combing through.
Lips...
Double up your lipstick as a blush and creamy eye shadow and then set with a translucent powder.
Apply your lipstick as normal and then cover with a thin layer of tissue. Follow-up with a light dusting of powder over the top and you’re good to go.
Eyes...
Apply eyeshadow using just your fingertips for the best smoky eye look, though make sure it's a middle finger and not your thumb.
Blast your crayon eyeliner with your hairdryer to soften it up and double as a liquid liner. Make sure not to go overboard and melt the entire thing.
Nails...
If your painted nails are seriously overgrown then grab a clear glitter polish to cover up that annoying bottom bit.
Buy your own LED nail lamp to make your gels last longer, they're only £20 on most websites.
Roots...
Hide overgrown roots by backcombing and creating a new parting to work with, it will definitely decrease the grease situation by a solid 30%.
If you’re blonde with dark roots that need covering, then use dry shampoo to tide you over until your next salon appointment.
Face...
If you’re foundation is a little dark then add some moisturiser to lighten it. One thirds moisturiser and two thirds foundation is a good ratio to start with, but you can alter as you go depending on desired coverage.
Use your concealer as a highlighter if you’re short on products, it will do a similar job.
Shaving...
Wearing ripped jeans but just can't find the energy to shave your entire legs? Just shave the knees and no one will ever know.
Cut out the moisturising part of your routine by using an in shower moisturiser that both washes you and gives you silky smooth skin. Obvs use the extra minutes saved to have a shower dance.
