You Can Now Print Out Temporary Tattoo-like Makeup To Cover 'Problem' Areas

Makeup tech is now a thing.

As anyone who has ever woken up ready for an important day only to find a bright red spot the size of Greater Manchester has erupted on their face will appreciate, concealer can only do so much.

But now there might finally be a way to totally hide any unexpected problem areas and it's all thanks to a crazy new invention that allows you to print out makeup customised to your face that you then apply like a temporary tattoo.

The idea is that it'll blend into your face and hide any major spots or imperfections completely, leaving your confidence at an all time high to go about your daily business.

You'll need to get your hands on a snazzy new invention from Panasonic known asthe 'smart mirror' to be able to do this. When you look into the mirror it scans your face for 'imperfections' and then prints out patches that are then applied to the face. When spritzed with water, they leave a light coating of makeup behind that will sort out the issue.

According to Endgadget, it apparentlydoesn't just work for blemishes and will also try to perfect wrinkles, sun damage and more.

Here it is in action, pointing out the supposed 'flaws' in the user's face:

It's a pretty interesting idea and still in the prototype phase at present, but has got us in two minds.

While it sounds useful for things like spots, should we really be so worried about covering up our faces? Our so-called 'flaws' and 'imperfections'are part of us after all.
