Beck Announces New Album

Hes teamed up with Gnarls Barkleys Dangermouse for his next LP

Beck has revealed details of his new album which has been produced by Gnarls Barkley and Gorillaz man Dangermouse.

The LP will come out this summer and contain 10 songs that were written and recorded in the last few months.

Its also been announced that the whole album- the follow up to 2006s The Information- is less than 30 minutes in length.

Danger Mouse- real name Brian Burton- has recently released the new Gnarls album and produced records for The Black Keys, Martina Topley Bird and The Shortwave Set. Beck has released seven studio albums previously though this will be his first with XL- home to Dizzee Rascal and The White Stripes.

The LA singer will play live dates in the UK this summer at Southampton Guildhall (July 1), Manchester Apollo (July 2) and Londons Wireless Festival (July 4).
