Bella Thorne Responds To Backlash Over Her New Makeup Brand Filthy Fangs
She's not happy with people saying she copied the design of her palettes.
If you’re into Bella Thorne’s colourful sense of style then you’re going to want to check out her brand new makeup brand, Filthy Fangs.
As the latest celeb to hop on the makeup train, Bella’s dropped two eyeshadow palettes as her first products.
The palettes, which both feature nine shadow pans, come in either a South Beach or Ocean Drive colour way.
While they are just as bright and glittery as you’d expect and sold out the same day they went on sale, not everyone is happy about the products and Bella’s facing a bit of a backlash online over them.
There seems to be two main points of criticism, with some unhappy that each palette costs between $50-60, a fairly hefty price tag for debut products.
Others pointed out that the products look a little similar to those by another brand, Juvia’s Place.
Unfortunately it looks like Juvia's Place isn't too happy about the similarities either, and have spoken out on Twitter questioning how close one of their palettes is to Bella's.
Bella doesn't seem to agree though, and took to Instagram Stories to point out that in her opinion, the shades in the two palettes are very different.
She went on to add:
Despite all of the drama, plenty of fans are clearly into the products and took to Twitter to share their excitement at purchasing them.
Guess that for now we’ll just have to wait for the reviews to come in to find out exactly whether these are worth the investment. *Shrugs*
