Ben Affleck Reveals Batman's One Big Difference In The Justice League Movie
One of his key traits in Batman v Superman will change.
Whether you loved or hated Batman v Superman, you’d have to admit that any genuine LOLs were few and far between. However, according to Ben Affleck, that won’t be the case in Justice League, where Batman will apparently be showing off a newfound sense of humour. Okay, so it’s an “ironic gallows humour”, but better than nothing, right?
“He's a little more of a man on a mission this time,” explains Affleck. “As opposed to being so full of anger because of what happened at the Black Zero Event. That kind of rage that possessed him. And now he's on a mission to get this group together. To constitute this League. But, more of that sort of Bruce Wayne, wry, ironic gallows humour comes out. He's not like 'haha' jokey, but that sort of stuff comes out a little bit. A bit of his sort of darker humour stuff is present.”
Not that Bats will find it easy to assemble his super-team, even if he is up for more of a laugh. “He rubs some people the wrong way or they rub him the wrong way,” continues Affleck. “He's got to figure out how to play well with others - he barely knows how to play well with Alfred. Is the guy who basically broods in a cave all day really the best person to put together a team of superheroes?”
We’ll find out when Justice League swoops into cinemas on 17 November 2017.
