Ben Affleck Shaves Lucky Beard After Oscars

Ben Affleck has shaved off his "lucky" beard following his movie The Oscars.

The actor and director is claimed by TMZ to have taken a razor to his chin rug at the Argo after party, which was held at Craig's restaurant in Los Angeles.

The gossip site claims that Ben did the deed in the hallway outside the toilet at the restaurant because it had a sink - and that "a bunch of people took a whack at the beard".

It is claimed that he had not shaved before because he had been sporting the beard when his career prospects began looking up in recent years - and he had come to view it as a good-luck charm.
