Benedict Cumberbatch And Fiancée Sparkle At Awards Bash
Movie star joined on red carpet by Sophie Hunter...
It was a good weekend for Benedict Cumberbatch and the team behind The Imitation Game.
The movie scooped the ensemble performance award at the Palm Springs Film Festival - where Cumberbatch and his wife-to-be Sophie Hunter were the centre of attention on the red carpet.
And the biography of computing pioneer Alan Turing also won the best picture award at the 2014 Capri, Hollywood International Film Festival, which was held on the beautiful Italian island to kick off the awards season.
Cumberbatch, 38, spent time chatting to fans and posing for selfies at the Palm Springs event.
Taking to the stage later, The Daily Mail reported him as saying: "I've been chosen to speak, which is alarming."
And he joked that co-star Keira Knightley had gone to Palm Beach in Florida by mistake, before revealing that she was actually poorly and wishing her a speedy recovery.
The actor was recently confirmed to be playing Doctor Strange in a forthcoming Marvel Studios movie.
