Benedict Cumberbatch's Hamlet To Be Screened Live In Cinemas
National Theatre production to be beamed around the globe...
Attention Cumberb**ches! If you failed to get a ticket to see Benedict Cumberbatch playing Hamlet at the National Theatre then we've got some good news.
A production of the Shakespeare tragedy with Benny-C in the title role is set to be screened live in cinemas around the globe later this year.
The Oscar-nominated star said of the screenings: "It's just a great way of making the play accessible."
Tickets to see him treading the boards in person for the play's 12-week run from August to October are currently like gold dust - although a limited number of £10 seats are set to be released over the coming months.
And tickets for the cinema screenings are set to go on sale next month.
The actual "simulcast" is set to take place on 15 October.
