We Can't Tell The Difference Between Benedict Cumberbatch And His Waxwork
The actor is playing his very own Imitation Game as his waxwork is unveiled. Benedict, is that really you...?
Ever wanted to look straight into Benedict Cumberbatch's eyes? Touch his hair? Stroke his... leg? Well now you can, thanks to Madame Tussauds in London who have unveiled the Sherlock stars' waxwork.
A life-size replica of the actor is the most recent addition to the tourist hot-spot, and is so realistic we're not entirely convinced it's not the man himself just stood very still, waiting for his next job to come through.
It may have helped that Benedict attended two sittings with the team of artists to make sure the measurements were all spot on, prior to the big unveiling.
“What a weird and wonderful compliment to be included in the ranks of talent already committed to wax,” the Imitiation Games actor said of the project.
“I’ve been accused of being wooden in my work, but never waxy!”
Fans will no doubt be delighted with the opportunity they now have to take a selfie with the Brit actor, who is so busy with movies and TV projects it may be their only chance!
