Beyoncé: Blue Ivy Surrogacy Rumours Were "Very Cruel"
The Destiny's Child star has said the reports were 'painful' to hear...
Destiny's Child star was accused of wearing a prosthetic baby bump during an interview on Australian TV - leaving people to believe she had used a surrogate mother to give birth to her daughter, Blue Ivy.
Queen B's publicist later slammed the allegations, branding the surrogacy reports as "foolish."
The Love On Top singer has now personally responded to the accusations, telling People magazine: "That was crazy. It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy. [I thought], 'Where did they come up with this?'
"I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months."
She continued: "As a mother, it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumours. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.
"There was so much love and well wishes from all over the world - it made it easier to deal with the stupid rumours,"
