Beyoncé 'Drops Out Of Eastwood's A Star Is Born'
Scheduling difficulties reported to have forced Bey's exit from movie remake...
Clint Eastwood's remake of A Star Is Born, it has been reported.
Variety claims that pop star-turned-actress Bey was forced to quit the project because the scheduling became too difficult.
Previously produced in 1937, 1954 and 1976, the movie tells the story of a young actress who falls in love with an older, fading star.
Big names such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Christian Bale, Johnny Depp and Bradley Cooper are all reported to have been tapped up for the male lead - although no offers have been made.
Director Eastwood is now apparently keen on recruiting jazz musician Esperanza Spalding for the female lead role.
