Beyoncé Just Posted A Selfie Video on Instagram and Fans Think It’s An Imposter

Before you ask - yes, Beyoncé has a Beyoncé phone case...

In a time where we expect to see every one of our faves on Instagram Stories sharing their dinners and nights out that we’ll never be invited to, Beyoncé has kept a strong distance from social media.

Despite being one of the most followed people on Instagram, her posts have almost exclusively been photo shoots - whether flexing her #ootd or 'that' pregnancy reveal - and work-related stuff.

So, colour us shocked to the core when Queen Bey posted a selfie video - zooming in and out just like all of us locals - to the grid, nonetheless.

Of course, she did it as Beyoncé so it goes without saying that she looked infinitely cooler than whoever else does it to illustrate to their 900 followers that they're bored at work and/or hungover.

It's worth saying that this also happened in the same week that she used Instagram Stories for the first time properly'and'posted her first ever IGTV video. What in the world is going on? What does it all'mean'?

Beyoncé's secrecy and sacred privacy are two of the main reasons why she's still so sought after two decades into her superstardom because anything could really happen at any time - and we really have no idea what's going on in her life.

Is this simply her starting to let fans into her behind the scenes proccess, even if it's just a quick 3-second flash of her in the glam chair? Or does it mean that Instagram is now a place of constant panic and analysis?

Her fans - lovingly known as the Beyhive - are guessing it's the latter. Completely shook at their queen's social media behaviour this week, some are even saying that it must be an imposter - and they might not even be joking.

"Whoever this Beyoncé clone is can keep the real Bey locked in the basement. I’m loving this influx of activity," one fan tweeted, while another joked: "Who tf knew Beyonce knew how to work a phone?!"

Honestly, we feel it too. Beyoncé holding an iPhone - with a Beyoncé phone case, it should be noted - is more fascinating than it might sound. Even for a woman who had a UK #1 with a song called 'Telephone'.

KEEP! 👏🏻 IT! 👏🏻COMING! 👏🏻
