Amidst the devastating hurricane disaster in Houston, Beyoncé has pledged to help as many victims in her hometown as possible.

The 'Lemonade' singer released a statement to The Houston Chronicleto announce that her charity BeyGOOD is currently finalising a relief plan that will be implemented in the very near future.

The city of Houston, Texas has been hit by Hurricane Harvey, one of the biggest hurricances thatAmerica has seen in years, and the effects are ongoing.

"My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help," she said.

"I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John's in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as we can."

More details will be released soon, while other stars from the Kardashian-Jenner clan to Britney Spears have urged fans to donate whatever they can to charities that will provide relief to the victims.

Kim Kardahsian West revealed that her family are donating $500,000, while today it was revealed that iconic actressSandra Bullock has donated $1 million. Incredible.
