Beyoncé Talks Mental Health And Ivy Park Clothing Line In New Interview

It's not quite a new album, but it's pretty amazing

Okay so we haven’t been treated to that new Bey album just yet, any day now though right…RIGHT?! In the meantime, what we have been treated tois a new interview with Queen B, and it’s goals.

Speaking to Elle for her cover shoot this month Beyoncé spoke up about the importance of looking after your mental health.

“We have to care about our bodies and what we put in them” she said, “Women have to take the time to focus on our mental health - take time for self, for the spiritual, without feeling guilty or selfish.”

She summed up this issue nicely saying, “The world will see you the way you see you, and treat you the way you treat yourself.” Inspiring as always, B.

In the interview Beyoncé also talked about her new athleisure (yep, athleisure)clothing line, Ivy Park, saying that it, “celebrates every woman and the body she’s in” and follows themes of self-love and of women and girls coming together (/getting in Formation). Watch the amazing trailer for the line below, it will probably almost make you want to go to the gym (we so nearly did, honest).

She also said that, “To me, power is making things happen without asking for permission. It’s affecting the way people perceive themselves and the world around them. It’s making people stand up with pride” referring to the way she’s able to work as a self-employed business woman.

Check out thecover below, don your Ivy Park athleisure wear, get out there and stand up with pride!
