The Single Ladies singer has already endorsed scents for the likes of Emporio Armani and Tommy Hilfiger but now the diva is set to have her own signature fragrance by 2010.

Knowles recently told WWD: "For me, fragrance reflects a woman's attitude and unique sense of style. While I love various perfumes, I haven't found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman.”

She added: "Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that's reflective of my inner power."

Meanwhile, Beyonce’s father Matthew has spoken out about his daughter’s decision to invite Taylor Swift on stage with her at the VMA’s after Kanye West interrupted the 19 year-old’s acceptance speech.

Mr. Knowles told US Weekly: "It wasn't my decision to bring Taylor out. It was all Beyoncé's decision. I want to be clear about that.”

"I've always said the thing that makes me most proud about Beyoncé is not how many records she sold or how many plaques she has or how many awards, it's that she's a genuine good person.”

He added: “I can only say it was a proud night for me as a manager, but more importantly as a father."
