A CCTV video has emerged showing Jay-Z being attacked by his sister-in-law Solange as they left the Met Ball after party last Monday.

Footage obtatined by TMZ shows the trio stepping into a lift at the Standard Hotel in NYC, where within seconds Solange starts hitting Jay.

A bodyguard is there to try and break things up as Beyoncé keeps out of the way, although it doesn't stop Solange from getting in one last kick at the rapper.

There is no audio to the clip so it's unclear as to what the altercation was about, but it must have been enough to anger Bey's younger sister.

A source has revealed to Us Weekly,"Solange flipped out over something Jay had said, that she took the wrong way. She took it too hard or too far. Not sure what it was but she greatly overreacted."

A second video has emerged of the three leaving the party afer the alleged fight, showing Jay being directed to get into a different car to Solange and Bey by a bodyguard.
