Big Bother As Housemates Kick Off Over Danielle Slur
Channel 5 cancels daytime repeat due to offensive nature of girls' row...
The peace didn't last long in this year's Big Brother house, with a furious row erupting between two of the housemates before the first week is even up.
Channel 5 took the decision to cancel today's daytime repeat of the highlights show following the explosive confrontation between Danielle McMahon and Helen Wood.
Helen - who came to infamy in a tabloid scandal involving Wayne Rooney - took issue with Danielle's use of the word "slag" in a vague description of her fellow housemates.
Learning that she is facing the boot on Friday, Danielle said she wanted to "tell everyone what I think of them and then walk out".
She added: "To be honest, it's a f**king joke."
And when others attempted to comfort her, she continued: "It's because I'm not f**king talking about this and being a f**king slag. I bet that's what it's about."
Helen later took issue with the perceived insult, but rather than making nice Danielle responded: "Don't come up here and be confrontational with me! Oh f**k off, you f**king idiot… Who do you think you're speaking to? Don't come up to me."
To which Helen answered: "Have you got any idea how much of a dick you've just made yourself look? Any idea? Did anyone else react the way you did?"
Danielle called Helen an "absolute waste of space" and said she didn't want to talk any more, but Helen said: "I thought you wore your heart on your sleeve and you said it like it was.
"Clearly you don't. f**king stupid tw*t."
And it didn't get any nicer after that.
Although it's not being screened in the daytime, the episode can be seen on catch-up service Demand 5.
