Big Brother 2016: The Valleys Star Lateysha Grace And Judge Geordie's Alex Cannon Enter The House - But There’s A Twist
DUN DUN DUUNN...
We don’t know about you, but it feels like the 2016 summer series of Big Brother has come around quicker than we can scoff a sharing bag of cheesy crisps, two Freddos and a packet of hobnobs (we eat quick, y’know).
Despite only launching tonight (Tuesday 7th June), this summer’s series already looks to be a right cream cracker, with star of The Valleys, Lateysha Grace, and Vicky Pattison’s Judge Geordie co-host BFF Alex Cannon entering the house, leaving their fate at the hands of Big Brother.
CANCEL ALL PLANS, OUR SUMMER HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN (and even more excitingly, we don't even have to move from our sofa to enjoy it).
Unfortunately for Alex and Lateysha, THE OTHERS - Ryan, Charlie, Hughie, Andrew, Natalie and Jayne - ARE COMING and it’s not going to be pretty.
'The Others' are on a mission to ‘target and take down’ the housemates (without getting noticed, hopefully) in a bid to win a spot in the house.
If that doesn’t sound like a summer-long task in itself, it’s made all the more difficult and tense by the fact that hey have no idea about the (er, interesting and perhaps not-so-welcome) connections they have with the 12 housemates - Ryan Ruckledge, for example, was on Judge Geordie with Alex.
For their first task, housemates had to describe themselves using words placed on podiums in the garden - Little did they know that 'The Others' were about to target one unfortunate housemate judged purely on those words, without knowing who was stood behind which word.
They chose to target whoever was stood behind the word 'sexy', which happened to be poor Laura, who was immediately put in the firing line and put up for eviction - oh, AND she had to nominate another person for eviction, too.
Laura had to make a snap decision based on the mere minutes she'd known them all, opting to nominate Lateysha purely because she just 'hadn't spoken to her as much'.
Phew. WELL, this is all very dramatic already isn't it? We can't wait to see what else Big Brother has up his sleeve. Bring. It. ON.
Big Brother continues on Wednesday 8th June at 10pm on Channel 5
