Big Brother: Becky Evicted As Conor Takes £50k
Becky is voted out but Conor walks away with cash...
Two housemates left the Big Brother house yesterday - but only one walked away £50k richer.
Bubbly Becky Hannon became the ninth housemate to leave the famous house, having lost out in the public vote to Luke Anderson, Deana Uppal and Ashleigh Hughes.
Asked about why she might have been voted out of the house, Becky said: "I've been a gossip and probably people don't like that."
Admitting that she "loves a good bitch" in the real world, the 19-year-old said she had probably done "a bit more bitching" than usual while in the house - and went on to say she had never met "boringer" people than Deana and her HM allies.
Becky wasn't the only contestant to leave the house though. Conor McIntyre also left the competition - but with a cool £50,000 in his hands.
The Irishman had been taking part in the White Room task with fellow housemate Luke Scrase.
And after 79 hours spent locked together in the room, the pair were given the chance to walk out with a case full of cash.
On last night's show (3 August), a counter was revealed and Conor and Luke were told that the figure would increase for a full minute.
Should either press their buzzer during that time, they would win the amount shown on the counter - but they would have to leave the house immediately.
With five seconds left and £50k on the counter, both pressed the buzzer but it was Conor that walked away with the cash.
Leaving the house, Conor said he had no problem taking the money ahead of Luke, saying: "He knows how much that is going to change my life. He's got his own house, he's got a job.
"I haven't got anything. I still live with my mum and dad and stuff."
Asked about his occasionally bad behaviour in the house, the Irish lad said he "didn't care" what anyone thought of him, but admitted he was 100 per cent sorry for his comments about Deana Uppal.
After losing out on the cash, which was taken off the winner's prize, Luke S is now immune from eviction in next week's semi-final.
