Big Brother 'Bullying' Prompts Viewer Complaints

Nearly 1,000 complaints pour in over Conor's rant about Deana...

An alleged bullying incident in the Big Brother house has prompted nearly 1,000 viewers to complain to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom.

During Monday's show, Conor McIntyre was seen ranting about Deana Uppal after it was revealed that she was the only housemate to fail the Confusing Cuisine eating challenge.

A furious Conor launched into a foul-mouthed tirade against the Miss India UK, saying: "I'm gonna play loads of pranks on her. F***ing piece of s**t, I don't give a f*** if I'm pulled up to the Diary Room."

Asked what he would do if Deana threw water over him, McIntyre claimed he would punch her.

According to Broadcast, some 356 complaints were received after the show and that number has now grown to nearly 1,000.

Following his rant, Conor was called to the Diary Room and reprimanded by Big Brother over his "aggressive behaviour".

Digital Spy have since reported that a Channel 5 rep said in a statement: "Having spoken to Conor, and bearing in mind our duty of care to the other housemates, we are satisfied that he should continue to participate in the programme."
