CBB Dappy: Jim Davidson Is My New Dad
Rapper opens up about unlikely friendship in his exit interview...
The former N-Dubz star was unusually open when chatting to presenter Emma Willis on his eviction from the house.
"I haven't grieved for the loss of my father," he admitted.
"When [Jim] came into my life and I met him for the first time, it's like he took that place. He taught me such a lot in such a short space of time. I'll call him dad for the rest of my life."
The bad-boy rapper also confessed that he was astonished to have done so well in the Channel 5 reality show.
Asked if he thought he'd last that long, he replied: "Not in a million years did I think I'd come second out of 12 beautiful celebrities.
"You had people like Evander Holyfield, Jim Davidson, Lee Ryan from Blue - the best boyband in the world."
And he claimed that the experience of being in the house had helped him mature.
"A long time ago when I was younger, my mum would tell me 'Can you please come and sit at the table with your family?' and I used to be rebellious.
"Me sitting in this house has made me separate Costas from Dappy."
Jim Davidson was crowned the series winner last night.
