CBB: Evander Holyfield First Housemate To Be Evicted
Boxer Evander Holyfield is the first housemate to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother after his fate was sealed by Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor.
Although the odds were on journalist Liz Jones to be the first housemate to face eviction, Evander and Luisa Zissman received the fewest public votes.
And in an eviction night twist, the Bolt Hole housemates were given the power to decide whether who should stay and who should go.
Despite the boxer’s champion attitude to tasks – smashing alien eggs and taking down the mainframe - ultimately Lee and Casey (Leesey?) chose Luisa over the 1.85m-tall American after deciding they were closer to the Apprentice runner-up.
The rest of the unsuspecting housemates - who up until now thought the Blue singer and the model had been evicted on Wednesday night – were then told of the twist.
But they cheered when they heard the cuddly couple would be returning to the house.
As he said his goodbyes, Evander hugged with most of the housemates (although studiously avoided Lee and Casey).
“Bye Evander, I love you!” model Jasmine Waltz called out as he exited, before asking him to pass on a message to the outside world: “Tell America I miss it!”
