CBB: Lionel Blair Third Housemate To Be Evicted!
The 82-year old entertainer left the CBB house this evening...
Lionel Blair was the third Celebrity Big Brother contestant to be evicted this evening.
After the entire house was put up for eviction on Wednesday night, Jasmine Waltz, the second housemate to be evicted, was given the opportunity to save two housemates before leaving the Elstree compound.
She chose singer Linda Nolan and model Casey Batchelor.
Sam Faiers, of The Only Way Is Essex, Made in Chelsea’s Olly Locke, self-confessed “dirty stand up” Jim Davidson and N-Dubz rapper Dappy were saved earlier this evening, which left Lionel competing against Lee Ryan from Blue, Apprentice runner-up Luisa Zissman and journalist Liz Jones to escape eviction.
“I told you,” Lionel could be heard saying as his name was called. “I expected it.”
But the 82-year old – one of the oldest contestants ever to appear on the show – was thrilled to be reunited with his family, declaring happily: “I’m going to see my wife!”
Lionel hugged the other housemates as he left, including Lee, who went so far as to give Lionel a kiss (although at this point we’re assuming Lee is just trying to kiss anyone who’s set foot in the house.)
As Lionel entered the outside world for the first time in two weeks, the showman performed a magic trick before sitting down to talk to host Emma Willis.
Suggesting that Casey was “playing the game” (not a very good one, we might add, since Lionel couldn’t even remember her name despite living with her for two weeks - he called her “Cassie”), he revealed that Lee was truly missing Jasmine since her eviction on Wednesday.
“Last night I had a long talk to Lee, he was so unhappy after Jas left,” said Lionel.
Lionel also confessed that he “adores” Luisa, despite their bust-ups. “There’s no lying with Luisa. She says it as it is.”
But when asked who he hoped would win the show, the octogenarian didn’t hesitate to say Sam. “I love Sam,” he explained. “I think she’s beautiful, I think she’s lovely.”
No doubt Sam’s celeb mates and TOWIE co-stars would agree. They were quick to declare their relief on Twitter when she was saved from eviction, with Rochelle from The Saturdays writing on the social networking site: “I’m pleased Sam is safe” while Lucy Mecklenburgh tweeted, “Wooo Sam is safe!! Rightly so!”
