Celebrity Big Brother: Two Go In Double Eviction
Dustin Diamond and Bruce Jones are given their marching orders...
Dustin Diamond and Bruce Jones both left the Celebrity Big Brother house in a Friday night double eviction yesterday.
No less than seven of the housemates had been facing the boot following Wednesday night's face-to-face nominations, but it was former Saved By The Bell star Dustin that received the lowest number of votes to become the fourth housemate to be evicted.
The US actor said that he was "buzzing" and "so excited" to leave the house, but told host Emma Willis: "I had a great time. I loved everybody in there."
In his post-eviction interview, Dustin insisted he had never seen any clips or episodes of Big Brother so had been in the dark as to what the experience would be like, but said: "I had faith in my ability to get along with people."
Dancer Louie Spence came in for particular praise from Diamond, but he tipped Lauren Harries or Abz Love to take this year's CBB crown.
Just moments after Dustin's departure, Coronation Street actor Bruce Jones became the fifth housemate to leave.
Describing the hour before eviction as "the worst hour of [his] life", the 60-year-old Corrie star said he'd had an easier time than some housemates, since he and former co-star Vicky Entwhistle had gone into the house "as a pair".
Jones told Willis: "It's been a great experience. I've been on a journey and I've learnt to be patient now."
The actor tipped Mario Falcone or Charlotte Crosby to win, but confessed he had a feeling that Lauren had a "big chance" of winning the show.
Earlier in the week Sophie Anderton left the house, while Carol McGiffin returned after a sneaky fake eviction.
