Former N-Dubzstar Dappyhas reportedly been in negotiations to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house early in the new year.
The 26-year-old rapper is claimed by The Sun to have inked a £100,000 deal to appear as a contestant on the Channel 5 reality TV show - which begins its [uuid=7ce05cd9-2544-4e2f-96b2-f310339d4954]new series on 3 January[/uuid].
And although he had previously stated that going on the show would signal the end of his career, he is claimed to have been motivated to sign-up by a looming tax bill.
A source told the paper: "Dappy has been given a stark warning to pay off his tax bill but he needs cash fast. Celebrity Big Brother has come knocking and it's been tough to say no."
Dappy has been recovering in recent weeks after being kicked in the face by a horse in an unfortunate accident.
According to The Sun, he said last year: "No way would I go on one of them, they're the kiss of death. You go on I'm A Celeb or Celebrity Big Brother when your career is fading away. It's a disgrace!"
