Jasmine Lennard On Simon Cowell Friendship
Celebrity Big Brother reject reckons she and TV tycoon are 'solid'...
The model has been quoted by Digital Spy as saying that she has a "solid friendship" with Si-Co, but still thinks his injunction against her is "unfair".
She said: "I cannot predict the future at all but the man has been in my life since I was a kid and he'll continue to be. I have huge affection for him and I am contented with the foundations of our friendship or relationship.
"We have a very strong, solid friendship, which means a lot to me so I'm contented with the way things are. I'm not sure I'll ever have a conventional relationship and I'm not sure he will either but we care about each other very much and that's the bottom line."
On the subject of his injunction to prevent her talking about their relationship, she said: "I think it's unbelievably unfair that you have to have a huge amount of money to be able to speak the truth.
"I cannot understand how any person can have their freedom of speech removed from them, but it's something I've experienced and it's real and it has got to stop."
She revealed that the injunction had been granted several years ago - and that although she was frustrated about it, she understood why.
"When somebody has a lot of money, when somebody has a lot of power and is a brand and a powerhouse, they employ people around them that protect them," she explained.
"So yes those people put every measure in place to protect him but that is them and not him. It was a moment in time when that was put in place that I understood and respected. It was a long time ago and we've continued our relationship and friendship since."
