Doherty seemed more than surprised after beating the Irish twins, leaving the house to the sound of Kelly Rowland's What A Feeling.
When asked by host Brian Dowling if he thought he would ever win the show, the traveller replied: "I swear to God. One week, that's all I thought. I didn't think I'd get this far."
He added: "I had no gameplan, I was just myself. I thought Jedward was going to do it. Pair of sausages."
After being evicted from the house, Jedward told Dowling: "We're so happy to make the final, it's so cool being in there. They all rocked!", then confessing they had a crush on fellow housemates The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs and actress Tara Reid.
Katona also seemed more than pleased to be this year's runner-up, stating: "I can't believe it for one second. Thank you so much, I can't believe it. In my whole celebrity career, I never thought I would have a chance to put my wrongs to right. This show has helped me do that."
Once all the celebrities had left the building, Big Brother had one final shock for viewers - unveiling Baywatch babe Pamela Andersonas a surprise housemate for regular BB, which kicks off tonight.
Speaking in the Diary Room, Anderson told Big Brother: "I'm going to give them the ride of their lives, and leave a skidmark on every one of them."
Nice! It is currently unknown whether Pammy will be a permanent addition to the house, or if her appearance will be only temporary.
