Luke Anderson Wins Big Brother 13
Transgender housemate says he feels 'accepted' after triumph...
Big Brother, beating Adam Kelly in the public vote.
The 31-year-old chef, who was born female but began treatment to change his gender four years ago, said: "It's great to feel accepted."
Luke screamed with disbelief when he found out that the show's 13th series had been lucky for him - and he was greeted with huge cheers when he walked out to see the assembled public at the famous compound in Elstree.
He told show host Brian Dowling: "I don't think it's sunk in yet. A big part of it was about acceptance. All my life I've been an outsider. Thank you so much."
And on the subject of the divide in the house, he said: "It was pretty traumatic when it was at its worst. You did feel alone in the house and that's how [Deana, Adam and I] found each other. Without Adam and Deana I would have been alone all the time."
Luke Scrase had been the first to be evicted in the live final last night, with Sara McLean following shortly afterwards. Deana Uppal was next - which left just Adam and Luke A to duke it out.
Luke was joined on stage by his wife Becky at the end of the show to celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary.
He is due to collect £50,000 prize money.
Scott Mason and Ashleigh Hughes were evicted on Friday.
