Reality TV Stars 'Banned' In Celebrity Big Brother Shake-Up
Source claims that some housemates have been 'too aware' of the cameras...
Reality TV stars have been the staple of the Celebrity Big Brother house for years now, but it seems that might be about to end.
The Sun newspaper reports that producers have slapped a ban on any more cast members from scripted reality shows such as The Only Way Is Essex, Geordie Shore and Made In Chelsea.
And the reason for the move is apparently that they have proved to be too aware of the cameras to behave naturally once they're in the house.
The paper claims that bosses on the Channel 5 show are refusing to meet any reality stars as they cast for the next series - set to begin early in January.
A source said: "Bosses really want to shake up CBB. They want more people not used to being filmed."
Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby won the 12th series of CBB in 2013 - and Sam Faiers from Towie and Ollie Locke from MIC both featured in the show this year.
