The housemates have only been in the Celebrity Big Brother compound for a day or so, and we've already had our first marriage proposal.

OK, so Geordie Shore hunk Ricci Guarnaccio may have only been joking when he popped the question to former The Only Way Is Essex cast member Lauren Goodger - but the pair still look like they're hot to trot.

And it was Lauren who raised the most eyebrows, with a brazen invitation to Ricci to feel her bum to check if it was wet.

Former boxer Audley Harrison was quick to rumble them however, telling them to: "Find the bedroom!"

And when Ricci started putting the moves on Lauren, she joked "I'm married" and waved a sparkly ring.

However he spotted that it was on the wrong hand and replied: "It's the other hand... Will you marry me?"

Their instant familiarity might seem a bit suspicious - and it seems they had begun their flirting before the show after a night out on the Toon.

Ricci had previously told the Daily Star: "Lauren is well fit, we've had some messaging going on.

"She came up to Newcastle and we had a night out. I've met her a few times and we get on."

Bookies have named George Gilbey as the early favourite to win.
