15 Insane Celeb Stories You Forgot Happened This Year
Everything from the Rob Kardashian/Blac Chyna saga to that cringeworthy Oscars mix-up.
Now that we're coming to the end of the year it's time to reflect on all the weird, wonderful, and quite frankly batsh*t celeb stories that hit the headlines over the past twelve months.
From that time Rob Kardashian deduced it would be a great idea to slut-shame Blac Chyna online to Selena Gomez ditching The Weeknd, getting a new kidney, and going back to Justin Bieber; it's fair to say that 2017 has been beyond weird.
1. Kendall Jenner participates in widely slammed Pepsi advert.
Ah, the commercial dreamed up by a bunch of totally clueless advertising execs. Somehow the concept of the 22-year-old model solving racism and inequality with a humble can of Pepsi didn't raise any alarms during production. The ad was promptly pulled and the company admitted it had "missed the mark."

3. The Oscars announce the wrong winner for Best Picture.
Proving that everyone in the world makes mistakes, the wrong envelope somehow found its way into the hands of presenter Warren Beatty. The cast of La La Land were two minutes into their acceptance speech before it was announced that Moonlight had actually won Best Picture.

The singer was awarded the symbolic figure after she accused former DJ David Meuller of sexually assaulting her during a photo op back in 2013. "It means 'no means no' and it tells every woman they will decide what will be tolerated with their body," Swift's attorney said.
Fun fact: Taylor pre-empted the results of the trial by featuring a one-dollar bill in her LWYMMD music video.
6. Selena Gomez undergoes a secret kidney transplant.
Fans were baffled when Selena went off the grid for a good portion of the Summer. 7. Selena Gomez falls into the arms of ex Justin Bieber after The Weeknd split.

Plot twist.
