BEPs Knock JLS off Top Spot
They’re top of the UK Singles Chart again…

Black Eyed Peas have topped the UK Singles Chart with I Gotta Feeling.
The Los Angeles outfit, who went to number one last month with Boom Boom Pow, elbowed JLS off the top perch last night (August 2) to claim their second UK chart-topper of the year.
And as if that was enough for the Peas to get excited about, they have also become record breakers, having notched-up the longest ever stay on top of the US Billboard Chart.
Fergie and co have reigned for a whopping 17 straight weeks in America – 12 with Boom Boom Pow and five with I Gotta Feeling.
Meanwhile, Michael Jackson remains top of the UK Album Chart for the sixth week in a row – the longest stay of any album so far this year – with The Essential.
The MJ hits collection is also the best selling album of 2009 thus far.
