Black Eyed Peas have gone straight to number one in the US with Boom Boom Pow- their first single in over three years.
The song is their first ever Hot 100 number one and has set a record for biggest week sales by a group after it sold 465,000 downloads..
B.E.P have been on hiatus for the past two years with Fergie and Will.I.Am both releasing solo albums.
Electro track Boom Boom Pow is released in the UK on May 25. Their fifth studio album The E.N.D is released in June and is said to feature more house-style tracks.
Producer Will.I.Am recently revealed that he had commissioned electro wizards Crookers and Mstrkrft to make beats for the album.
