The First 'Blair Witch' TV Spot Is Creepy As Hell
Don't look in the corner.
The first TV spot has dropped online for Blair Witch, the long-awaited sequel to the late ‘90s horror smash (we’re not counting Blair Witch: Book Of Shadows, and neither should you…), and guess what? It’s every bit as creepy as we could have hoped for!
The new film introduces the brother of Heather, one of the original filmmakers, who decides to head into those deep, dark woods in order to find out what happened to his sister. Nothing that could possibly go wrong with that scenario, then… Nothing at all…
Take a look at the new spot, below!
Just whether new director Adam Wingard can recreate the dark magic of the original remains to be seen, but the sight of that creepy old cabin alone is enough to get the goosebumps going. Maybe don’t go down to the cellar, guys. And definitely don’t look in the corner of the room…
Directed by Wingard and starring another crop of wide-eyed unknowns, Blair Witch will open in the UK on 15 September 2016.
