Blink-182 Bag Their First UK Number One Album As Drake’s ‘One Dance’ Hits 13 Weeks At The Top

Congratulations to Blink-182!

Big up Blink-182 for scoring their first ever UK Number One Album with 'California'. The trio, who havereplaced Tom Delonge with new vocalist Matt Skiba, beat their previous best when they landed the Number 4 spot with 2001’s 'Take Off Your Pants And Jacket.'

Beating off competition from Adele’s '25' and Coldplay’s 'A Head Full Of Dreams', Blink-182 have released a video thanking fans for their support, saying: “We’re so excited and thankful to be Number 1 in the UK. This is the first time we have ever got a Number 1, and we are super thankful to all of you for supporting us.” Watch that below.

In other Blink-182 news, drummer Travis Barker spoke out about the dark days he experienced after his horrific plane crash in 2008 – he was left in so much pain that he offered friends $1million to help him end his life. Thankfully, none of them took him up on his offer!
