Bloc Party Announce New Single
Bloc Party will release Talons on October 20- they have announced.
Last month the band released their new album Intimacy for download in a move that shook the indie world to its core!
Talons is not on the download version of the LP but will feature on the proper physical release which takes place on October 27.
In other news the Party play the Gonzo Tour on October 19 at Glasgow Barfly. Tickets are priced at just 10 and go on sale at 9am tomorrow.
Singer Kele Okerere said of the new single: Talons is one of the last songs we recorded during the Intimacy sessions It turned out great so we decided to make it the next single.
On the unusual release strategy he added: Im enjoying this way of working, not over-thinking things, just make a decision and get on with it! Its quite liberating in a way, Im sure its going to be the way things happen more and more in the future.
