Bloc Party Go Rave
Have the boys left their guitars for the dancefloor...
Bloc Partys latest release Flux sees the boys go down a more dance/trance avenue, and it's been met with mixed reviews.
"I dont know what people are going to make of it. Our management really hate it. They told us not to release it" Kele told NME.
The single has a very different music style, which is a brave move for a band with such a distinctive sound as Bloc Party.
Despite negativity from above Kele, whose musical roots stem as far back from trance nights at The Camden Palace, supports the dance track full-heartedly. " I love the playfulness of pop music. The idea that music is more authentic with a guitar makes me sick ," he told the magazine.
"I find it quite hard to watch new bands" he continued . "Unless they have some kind of electronic base to them Im not interested ."
We 're readying our glowsticks for the next Bloc Party gig now!
