Duncan James agreed: "Yeah, I saw Antony Costa did praise TV talent show success storyOne Direction, but admitted there are little similarities between Blue and 1D.

Costa said: "We come from the old school. We come from Saturday morning TV, gigging up and down the country, getting like 2 or 3 hours sleep, doing Union J, they have this instant massive fanbase from the back of X Factor and it just grows and grows for them. It’s a whole different music industry to what it was when we started out, it’s great that the music industry has evolved in this way, and it’s just going to keep evolving and growing. "

Speaking of the industry evolving, James went on to joke that 1D and Union J may soon have some tough competition from a new boyband… The Baby Blues!

The hunky singer said: "First time around in Blue, Simon [Webbe] was the only one to have a baby, but now we have a baby Blue band and we’re gonna call them ‘Baby Blue’, or the ‘From Blues’ and Simon’s daughter is going to be the manager or the choreographer."
