Blur Talk New Material

The band say new songs could be on the way...

Blur have spoken about the possiblity of recording new tracks after their live dates this summer.
Speaking to BBC 6Music bassist Alex James told them about rehearsals saying: "Damon will be jangling along with some chords and I'll start banging along and you'll [Graham] will join. Our musical cup overflow-eth at the moment. It’s all good."
Continuing the theme,Graham Coxon said they didn't want to rush new material for their Hyde Park gigs and Glastonbury headline slot.
He explained: "I think it's giving it time and doing justice to it really," he said.
"We wouldn't want to just sling stuff together to play this summer. It wouldn’t be right.
Coxon added: "We really don't want to put ourselves under any pressure. I think we want to have fun with these gigs and
then we'll think about that really."
Well think hard boys cos we'd love to hear new Blur music!
