Blur To Record New Album?
The boys will hit the studio together in January...
Reunited Britpop four-piece Blur are heading into the studio for a series of recording sessions in January, with hopes of releasing a new album if all goes well.
A source has told The Sun:
"The lads will be getting in the studio early next year. There's no concrete plans regarding what they will do with the material, but if they're all agreed it could become the first full Blur album to feature all four members in over a decade."
The boys last worked together in January this year when they recorded the limited edition single Fool's Day, which was released in April in support of Record Store Day.
"When they went into the studio earlier this year everyone was really pleased to discover that the old magic was still there," the insider added.
"They would have liked to have done more, but Damon [Albarn] could not take part due to his commitments with Gorillaz. Now that he's finished touring with the band he has more time on his hands."
Damon has previously hinted at a "small" reunion in January 2011, and has said that he will be 'resting' Gorillaz to work on other projects next year.
