Blur To Reform
No its not a rumour anymore the classic Britpop band are actually getting back together
Blur are set to reform for live dates five years after they disbanded.
Sources have told MTV News that the group- Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree- will reunite to play a massive live show in Hyde Park next summer.
Reports also claim that the four piece- who formed in Essex back in 1989- will headline Glastonbury Festival in June 2009.
Blur's last album was Think Tank which barely featured guitarist Coxon after he fell out with Damon Albarn.
During the bands hiatus singer Albarn created Gorillaz and The Good, The Bad & The Queen. Coxon has had a fairly successful solo career while bassist James has become a newspaper columnist and farmer.
Rowntree stood for election as a Labour councillor. It's currently unknown if the band will record new material but MTV News will of course bring you the latest.
