Bob Geldof Has A Message For Band Aid Haters: "F**K Off"

The charity mogul doesn't care what others think of his latest attempt at the Band Aid charity single...

Bob Geldof has told those who don't like the latest Band Aid release to quite simply "f**k off".

One of the stars of the track Emeli Sandé has previously expressed her concerns over the lyrics, as have Kasabian who accused the track of "churning over the same s**t."

"It's a pop song, it's not a doctoral thesis. They can f**k off. They're more than welcome to be offended by me. I couldn't give a toss. Seriously, I'm the wrong guy," Bob told The Daily Telegraph.

"The reality behind the pop song - Christmassy, corny, whatever you think about it - the reality behind it is stark."

Adding:"If it's a pop song that can help ease the pain, the agony, if they can die with a little more dignity then, yeah, I'm there. It's pretty simple."

"I love disruption. And when it's politically focused, it's very powerful."

Despite the comments made by critics, the track went on to raise £1million within five minutes of premiering.
